The upcoming Kannada action thriller KGF Chapter 2 has been scheduled to release on 14 April 2022. The film stars south star Yash in the lead role along with Sanjay Dutt and Raveena Tandon.

MUMBAI: The much-awaited Kannada action-drama KGF Chapter 2 will get its theatrical release on 14 April 2022 as the makers announced the official release dates on the occasion of the 37th birthday of the film's hero Yash on Saturday 8 January.

The makers also shared a new poster of the upcoming action thriller on Saturday 8 January where Kannada star Yash is seen in an intense look. The film cast includes Bollywood Star Sanjay Dutt and Raveena Tandon, Prakash Raj and Srinidhi Shetty in important roles.

The film is directed and written by Prashanth Neel and produced by Vijay Kirgandur under the Production Company of Hombale Films. Two days ago on 8 January 2022, a teaser video of the KGF Chapter 2 has been shared by the makers. The official trailer of the film is not yet released.

The KGF second Chapter is the part 2 instalment of the KGF series and a sequel to the K.G.F: Chapter 1 released in the year 2018. As the first part of the film series was a big blockbuster hit and received good reviews with a huge profit, now the expectation is high with the next coming part.

Yash in the film appears as Rocky who is the voice against injustice and struggles to fight for the people. He helps those who understand the changing circumstances between gangsters and politicians in the widespread business of gold.

Sanjay Dutt plays the role of Adheera who is the main villain in the film and the biggest enemy of Yash. Actress Raveena appears in the character of Ramika Sen who is the Prime Minister of the Country in the film

On 14 April the film will be made available to watch in different languages in big screens including Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam, Telugu and Kannada. The film budget cost a huge amount of Rupees 100 crore.
