Super Sharanya Movie Review, Ratings, Cast, OTT Release And All You Need To Know

The romance comedy-drama directed and written by Girish AD has been released on big screens on Friday 7 January. The IMDb rating of the film is 7.2 out of 10.

The film is expected to have its OTT release soon but the OTT release date is not yet confirmed.

Super Sharanya cast includes Mamitha Baiju, Anaswara Rajan, Arjun Ashokan and Naslen K. Gafoor in the main roles and other cast members include Vineeth Visman, Vineeth Vasudevan and Nasleen Gafoor. Anaswara Rajan plays the titular role in the movie.

The film revolves around the girl Sharanya played by Anaswara Rajan and depicts the time of her life in college that she spent with her teachers and friends. The film gives a bigger picture of a hostel life that includes friendship goals and ragging as well.

It shows scenes of discussions and gossips between girls group, their outings, enjoying food and everything that can make college life a lot more interesting.

The film takes the audience in the process of how Sharanya develops her personality and becomes mature enough after struggling and experiencing a lot throughout her young age.

Sharanya comes from a small town Kollenkode and gets admission to Thrissur to pursue her engineering degree. But she decides not to stick for studies only and explores all associated with college life but being a small-town girl it becomes difficult for her to adjust at the beginning.

As the college life story the film holds every side so how can the director forget to create a love angle. Sharanya shares a romantic relationship with a young man named Deepu (Arjun Ashokan) who also studies in her college and develops feelings for her.

The 2 hours 41 minutes film becomes less engaging towards the ending part and seems to be much longer as it is completely dedicated towards one character and the other characters get overshadowed.

The film is produced by Shebin Backer along with the film director Girish. The music in the film by Justin Varghese managed to make the film a bit more engaging. It can be said that the film fails to match with the title which holds the term 'Super' though it is a sweet college drama.
