Tamil Actor Karthik Kumar Gets Married To Amrutha Srinivasan: See Marriage Photos

BENGALURU: Former Tamil actor who turned into a stand-up comedian, Karthik Kumar has tied the marriage knot with Amrutha Srinivasan who is 16 years younger than him.

They organized a simple intimate wedding function in Chennai which was attended by close friends and family members of the bride and groom.

The newlywed couple is receiving much love as wishes pours in after they shared their wedding pictures on social media. Fans from across the country are congratulating Karthik and Amrutha on their big day making their marriage pictures viral on the internet.

As per reports before their marriage, the couple was dating each other for a few months. Though Karthik is 16 years older than Amrutha the couple proved that age is just a number, when two people are in love.

Amrutha Srinivasan appeared as the lead character of a few of the Tamil and Telugu movies including 'Dev' which was an aromantic action-adventure film in 2019 directed by Rajath Ravishankar and 'Mayatha Man', a romantic comedy film in 2017 directed by Rathna Kumar.

Amrutha, 28, was born on 3 November 1993 in Chennai and she has gained much recognition as an actor after her excellent performance in the web series named Kallachirippu. She was also featured in an important role in the web series, Livin.

Actor Karthik Kumar, 44, was born on 21 November 1977 in Chennai and made a successful career in acting but then he started his job as a stand-up comedian. Karthik Kumar was earlier married to RJ and playback singer Suchitra in the year 2005 but later both parted ways just a few years ago considering their personal differences.

He appeared in many successful Tamil hit movies such as Yardi Ni Mohini (2008) directed by Mithran Jawahar, Alaipayuthe (2000) directed by Mani Ratnam, Kanda Naal Mudhal and Vaanam Vasappadum.
