Guwahati: "Janam kab lena hai aur marna kab, who ham nahi decide kar sakthe hai par kaise jeena hai, who ham decide kar sakthe hai," says a high spirited Manny to his love Kizzie, both fighting the odds that their lives have pitted them against. Whether on the screen or off the screen, Sushant lived up to his words in its entirety. With a fabulous career spanning over just twelve years, Sushant ensured that every frame was a spectacular treat for the audience and by doing so, won the hearts of millions.

There has been a long wait for Dil Bechara, and the movie's trailer was released on Monday. Minutes after the trailer was posted on YouTube, social media was flooded with loads of "emotional applause" if one can call it that.

Sharing a poster from the film, director Mukesh Chabbra in an emotional note wrote, "Sushant was not just the hero of my debut film as a director but he was a dear friend who stood by me through thick and thin. We had been close right from Kai Po Che to Dil Bechara. He had promised me that he would be in my first film. So many plans were made together, so many dreams were dreamt together but never once did I ever imagine that I would be releasing this film without him."He went on to add how he can visualise Sushant Singh Rajput with his beautiful smile showering blessings upon them. Sanjana Sanghi, Sushant's co-star in the movie sharing her jitters tweeted, "Nobody ever told me this is what pre-trailer jitters could feel like! My stomach is RUMBLING & ROARING. I hope you are all with us. I know he is."

Many other celebrities also wrote heartfelt notes at this juncture when the film is all set to release in the absence of the young and talented actor. Actor Anil Kapoor tweeted, "A beautiful trailer & tribute to the star we lost too soon but get to see him shine on screen one last time and be immortalised through his work forever in millions of hearts."

Kriti Sanon wrote that while Dil Bechara is going to be hard to watch she is not going to miss it. Actor Viineet Kumar took to Twitter and wrote, "Feeling emotional while watching every frame of this trailer." Many others shared the trailer and expressed their heartfelt tributes to the late actor.

Dil Bechara is Mukesh Chabbra's directorial debut based on John Green's 2012 novel The Fault in Our Stars. It stars Sanjana Sanghi, Saif Ali Khan, and Swastika Mukharjee in pivotal roles. The music for the movie is composed by AR Rahman. The film's release in theatres scheduled for May 8th got delayed due to the Coronavirus pandemic.
