Trojan: A New Assamese Mini-Series on OTT

GUWAHATI: A new Assamese mini web series is now available for viewers of OTT platforms. Named Trojan, it is a nine-episode crime drama series.

Trojan has been described as a first-of-its-kind web series in the slow-burn suspense crime genre in Assamese. It has been produced by Kuheli Dasgupta and Sumit Dasgupta and directed by Dhruva J Bordoloi and Himjyoti Talukdar.

This mini-series showcases the effects of a ransomware attack in the city of Guwahati and how the state police react to the same in order to capture the main perpetrators. Each episode of Trojan takes us deeper into the webs of crime and power in the state.

Director and editor Dhruva J Bordoloi mentioned: "My challenge was to keep the narrative consistent and engaging. I decided on a slow burn treatment where characters and their motivation lead the story steadily without losing the suspense and thrill. Employing believable VFX was one of the important parts as well. I love editing what I direct and Trojan was no different."
