Varun Dhawan Becomes Highest Paid Actor- His ABCD 3 Demand Will Hold You in Awe

Varun Dhawan has been in the news for the longest time, thanks to his movies and the impeccable line up he has. Currently busy with Kalank, Varun Dhawan will be seen sharing screen space with Katrina Kaif soon in Remo D'Souza's movie ABCD 3 which will be shot in 3D and will release in 4D and IMAX format, if reports are to be believed. The movie goes on floors in January and is eyeing for a November 2019 release.

However, Varun's fees for this movie has always managed to make the news. If BollywoodLife report is to be believed, the actor is charging whopping Rs 21 crores for the project as against another report of Rs 32 crores. If this is true, he becomes the highest paid next-generation actor. A source informed the portal, "Though Sui Dhaaga: Made In India and October weren't exact money-spinners, there is no denying that Varun is the most bankable amongst the young crop of actors. The producers have agreed to the amount. This fee places him in a league higher than Ranveer Singh and Ranbir Kapoor."

In the movie, Katrina reportedly plays a Pakistani dancer. During the Koffee with Karan episode this year, Varun came along with Katrina and said that he would like Kat to demand the same amount as him, and if not, he will not do the film. Though it was said in a joking manner, we would really like our industry ladies to step up and charge as much as their male counterparts.
