Watch Here: Alia Bhatt Records Ranbir Kapoor's "Shiva Sessions" For Brahmastra

Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor starrer Brahmastra remain in the process of filming. Director Ayan Mukerji on weekday shared a video clip from last Saturday showing Ranbir Kapoor practicing moves from a movement and culture professional cluster expert group from Germany, Ido Portal.

Sharing the video, Ayan wrote: “Shiva Sessions Last Saturday, Berlin. Prep work for our next shooting schedule is on... and once again, our path led us to one of our most special collaborators on this journey - Ido Portal. (More on his role in helping Ranbir build his performance in another post...) For now, some random moments from our weekend brainstorming session with Ido... #preplife #traveldiaires #brahmastra.”

In the video, Ranbir can be seen interacting with another person whereas Alia stands in one corner and records it on her phone. Brahmastra could be a three-part fantasy trio within which Ranbir will be seen playing Shiva whereas Alia will be seen playing in a personality referred to as Isha. Ayan decided to shift the release of Brahmastra from the initial proclaimed date for Christmas as work on the film is yet to be completed. The film producer had proclaimed it in a very long and emotional note last month.

On Mahashivaratri in March this year, Ayan along with Ranbir and Alia Bhatt were in Prayagraj’s Sangam for the launch of the film’s logo. Brahmastra borrows heavily from Hindu mythology and within the film too, it's the mother of all weapons that seems to be the main focus. Speaking regarding it to the media, Alia had said: “Ranbir and I have continually maintained that Brahmastra isn't a superhero film; it's a mystical fantasy drama. There's no reference for comparison. It’s a new film that's rising in our industry. It can be a movie which will make this industry proud and place us on a world pedestal. I don’t want to blow my very own trumpet, but there’s immense faith in Ayan’s vision.”

Reports say that Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor are on a vacation in Europe. They're going to shortly head for Lake Como. According to a report, “Both of them have been keeping extremely busy and were planning a holiday for a while now. This looked like the right time and Ranbir and Alia will soon be off to Lake Como as they love its scenic beauty. The two plan to go see numerous places across Europe. Post this vacation, they're going to come back to work.”

Alia was spotted leaving for London with Ayan earlier this month to spend time together with her sister Shaheen who is studying there. Ayan was to work on the music of the film with musician Pritam.
