Full Lineup Of The Artists For 'Queendom 2' - Here Are The 6 Teams Officially Competing On The Show

On Monday 21 February the South Korean music television channel Mnet has announced the full lineup of the artists to be featured in the upcoming show 'Queendom 2.'

Six female artists will be competing in the Mnet hit reality show Queendom Season 2 which will premiere on 31 March 2022.

After the massive success of the first series of Queendom, the broadcast platform in December last year took the decision for starting the show's new season.

The Mnet TV channel on Monday took to its official account of social media to announce the lineup of the cast for Queendom 2.

After several meetings and discussions with girl groups like Brave Girls, VIVIZ, ITZY and others, Mnet has now finalized the list of participants.

As per the latest post by Mnet the six lineup casts to participate in the upcoming season of Queendom consists of one soloist and 5 groups.

The participants who will be officially competing are Brave Girls, LOONA, VIVIZ, Kep1er, Cosmic Girls and Hyolyn who is a former member of SISTER.

The first season of the series which was premiered in 2019 also consisted of one soloist and 5 groups namely, AOA, - Oh My Girl, (G)I-DLE, AOA, Lovelyz, MAMAMOO and Park Bom who is a former 2NE1 member.

The producer of the show stated that all the 6 artists chosen for Queendom 2 are iconic K-pop singers with excellent music skills also they have topped music programs. The maker also expresses their expectation from the artists to show their unique talent and best stage performances.

Know about the 6 teams for Queendom 2:

1. Brave Girls: 

The K-pop girl group produced by Brave Brothers made their debut in 2011 but gained much recognition after their song 'Rollin' went viral last year.

2. LOONA: 

The 12 member girl team formed by Blackberry Creative came with their debut in 2018 and since produced numerous hits like PTT in 2020 and Hi High in 2018.

3. VIVIZ: 

Formed under BPM Entertainment is the first South Korean girl group of Big Planet Made. It consists of former GFriend members namely Eunha, SinB, and Umji who debuted very recently on 9 February this year.

4. Kep1er: 

The 9 members girl group under WAKEONE was created via the survival show 'Girls Planet 999' debuted in January 2022 with the album titled 'First Impact.'

5. Cosmic Girls: 

The 10 members Chinese girl group from South Korea also recognized as WJSN made their debut in 2016 and delivered several hits since then that including 'As You Wish in 2019 and 'I Wish' in 2017

6. Hyolyn: 

The only soloist to compete in Mnet's Queendom 2 is known originally as Kim Hyo-Jung. She gained popularity after her debut with SISTER in the year 2010.
