Your tiny-tot might have been exploring different concepts of maths since his or her infancy. From observing concepts like pattern recognition, comparisons, numbers, etc., to different mathematical languages. Now that she or he is grown older and ready to learn counting numbers, it's time for you to make it fun and simple.

Here are a few fun counting games and activities that would help her learn the names of numbers, what they look like, and how to count them in order.

. Count everything

The best learning occurs when you don't realize that you're learning. And, that's how you teach your child. . Make learning fun-filled. There's something to count everywhere, whatever you're doing, like "how many people are eating, how many cups do we need," etc.

.Counting fingers and toes

While giving her a shower or dressing her up, ask her to count fingers aloud, which will help her to get used to the number sounds. You can also ask her to count other things at home.

. Look for numbers

Every time you step out with your little one, look for numbers and help her or him identify them. This will acquaint her or him with identifying and recalling numbers better.

. Fun activities

Young kids learn through play. Make learning interesting with fun-based activities. There are many age-appropriate activity boxes available online.

. Teach Child Numbers

Kids quickly grasp learning numbers in twos. Remember the rhyme we used for learning numbers? "One, Two, Buckle My Shoe" use that trick to teach her the numbers. It's in twos, it's with words, it's all that she needs to learn.

. Play as a group

When kids play as a group, learning occurs faster. The next time you organize a play date, make the kids sit down in a circle and ask them to count numbers in turns.
