13 Assam police personnel to receive President’s police medal on 71st Republic Day

GUWAHATI: A total of 13 police personnel from Assam will be conferred the President’s police medal on the 71st Republic Day at the national capital on Sunday. IPS officer, Nitul Gogoi, Deputy Inspector General of Police (MPC) will be awarded President’s Police Medal for his distinguished service.

Other officers who will receive the medal for meritorious service are:

Bipin Chandra Gogoi, 1st. A.P. Battalion, Ligiripukhuri, Nazira; Naik(UB) Ganesh Kumar Singh, Special Branch, Assam, Kahilipara, Guwahati; Naik(UB) Krishna Kanta Lahan, DSB, Sadiya Police District; Constable(UB)-02 Binoy Sonowal, Sadiya Police District; Constable(AB)-29 Moinul Hogue Laskar, Morigaon DEF; Constable(UB) Bijoy Saikia, DSB, Sadiya Police District; Constable (AB)-98 Jani Ram Boro, Commando Battalion, Mandakata, North Guwahati; Constable(UB) Pravin Kumar, Border Organisation, Assam, Srimatapur, Guwahati; Constable(UB)-450 Jiten Chandra Nath, Nagaon DEF.
