15 kg Ganja recovered by GRP from Rajdhani Express in Guwahati, One Arrested

Guwahati: During a patrolling duty, the Guwahati Government Railway Police (GRP) on Thursday recovered around 15 kgs of Ganja from 12423 Down Rajdhani Express Train (coach no A/4 seat no 16) at around 7 am.

As per speculation made by the GRP, the officials are suspecting that these Ganjas were allegedly brought from Dimapur in Nagaland. The accused passenger identified as KR Rang (28) was on the way to New Delhi was arrested by the GRP.

It may be mentioned that Rang is the son of Kuluba Maram Sagongbam, vill. Maram Bazar, Polic Station under Senapati District in Manipur.

In this connection, a case is being registered and further investigations are on.
