1st Rivers Education Foundation Youth Literary Awards Presented

GUWAHATI: The 1st Rivers Education Foundation (REF) Youth Literary Awards for 2021 were given away at a ceremony recently at Zakia's Place here, according to a press release.

The awards were given by REF to recognise and encourage literary talent in children from Classes 7 to 12. Students from The Assam Valley School, Tezpur, Maria's Public School, Guwahati and Royal Global School, Guwahati along with a few other schools participated in the event.

Iffat Ikram of Maria's Public School won the REF Literary Star Award. The other awardees were Anusha Bharadwaj and Siddhant Sen Deka (Imaginative Writer), Jannat NS Rahman, Ruhab Arman Hazarika and Meher Prajna (Promising Writer) and Kritika Modi (Original Writer). This was stated by REF president SM Farid and co-founder Reshma NC Shah.
