1st SSB Battalion conducts cleanliness drive in Sonapur

GUWAHATI: The 1st Battalion SSB Sonapur, along with staff of District Hospital Sonapur, jointly conducted a cleanliness drive under Swachhata 'Ek Tareek Ek Ghanta' as a tribute to Mahatma Gandhi on the eve of his birth anniversary on October 2 at District Hospital Sonapur. SSB officials, under the supervision of Anuj Kumar, Offg. Commandant 1st Bn SSB Sonapur, participated in the cleanliness drive at the Sonapur District Hospital premises.
1st Bn SSB Sonapur also conducted the drive under "Ek Tareek Ek Ghanta" from Nazarikhat toll gate to Sonapur market, in which SSB personnel took part in the drive. Members of Baruabari GP, students, and staff of Kendriya Vidyalaya, Digaru, actively participated in the cleanliness drive at the Sonapur market area, stated a press release.
