2 dead in road mishap at Saraighat Bridge
Two persons died on the spot after their vehicle skidded off the Saraighat Bridge on Sunday night.

GUWAHATI: Two persons died on the spot after their vehicle skidded off the Saraighat Bridge on Sunday night. The incident took place when a Swift Dzire (AS-01-BF-0380), which was coming towards the city, hit the railing of the Saraighat bridge and skidded off the bridge.
Rumiza Begum (26) and Fakrul Islam (32) from Siphajhar died on the spot. They were reportedly going to get married next month and had come to the LGBI Airport to pick up their relatives.
