20 Students From Guwahati University Test Positive For COVID-19

Guwahati: Around 20 Students from Guwahati University (GU) have been tested positive for COVID-19 on Monday.

Notably, these positive cases have turned the university into a COVID hotspot zone.

As per reports, out of these 20 students, ten belonged to the AT9 hostel while the remaining nine belonged to RCC6 and RRC5 hostels of the University.

On December 11, the health department had conducted the tests among the students and the report later revealed that 20 students have been infected with the virus.

Reportedly, the infected students have been admitted to the hospital for the treatment.
