GUWAHATI: Despite various political speculations it is almost certain that the present BJP-AGP alliance would remain intact to fight the 2021 Assembly polls.

BJP national leader Ram Madhab recently hinted during a party meeting that the alliance would continue and jointly fight the next year's election.

Meanwhile, both the parties have undertaken surveys to find solutions to certain issues before the election. Sitting MLAs of both BJP and AGP are not performing well and the people of those constituencies are unhappy. The survey will find out a seat sharing formula by leaving certain seats to either BJP or AGP.

As the Congress-AIUDF poll alliance is on the cards the survey will study population pattern of various constituencies to draw election strategies to counter the opposition.
