GUWAHATI: The second edition of the special Lok Adalat to deal with land and revenue cases of Kamrup (M) district was held at the Deputy Commissioner's office here on Saturday.
As many as 40 cases were heard during the Lok Adalat.
According to Assistant Commissioner Anurag Rudra, a tracking system will be put in place for expeditious disposal of these cases. Kamrup (M) Deputy Commissioner Pallav Gopal Jha said that revenue matters involve the most fundamental issues of citizens and, therefore, he urged them to come to the Lok Adalats to settle their long-pending matters.
