Garchuk Police Seized 46 Kg Ganja (Cannabis) in Guwahati, 1 Arrested
The Guwahati Crime Branch conducted a joint operation with Garchuk Police on Wednesday arrested a person — Dipen Daimary with 46 kilograms of cannabis (ganja) from his rented store at Dhalboma Namghar Path here.

GUWAHATI: The Guwahati Crime Branch conducted a joint operation with Garchuk Police on Wednesday arrested a person — Dipen Daimary with 46 kilograms of cannabis (ganja) from his rented store at Dhalboma Namghar Path here. The accused was staying at a rented house at Ganeshpara under Fatasil Ambari Police Station and is a native of Udalguri.
The police also seized one mobile handset, a SIM card, and a Bolero vehicle (AS-01-EK-3822) from the accused. Daimary was produced before the CJM Court here on Thursday and has been forwarded to judicial custody.
