4th edition of Chimera Awards Function to be held on November 30 in Guwahati

GUWAHATI: Amrapali (Society for ARTS), northeast India’s foremost socio-cultural organization, in association with the Government of Assam is arrenging a series of events as part of 4th Chimera 2019, the biggest cultural competition for students from Nursery to Masters Degree level.

The last phase of event, curated by Pranaame Bhagawati and coordinated by Rudro Jayanta Bhagawati, will be held on November 23-24 at the South Point School in the city. Different competitions like Yoga, Vocal music, Indian classical/creative dances, etc. will be the part of this two-day event.

This year, Amrapali already organized more than 30 competitions across Guwahati city in different venues from November 12 in subjects like Dance, Music, Vocal, Yoga, Recitation, Fine Arts, Crafts, Calligraphy, Fashion Show, Mime, Drama, Mono Act, Puppetry, Cake Baking and world’s first ever OLYMPIAD on Arts Culture and Heritage and much more. The Prize Distribution Ceremony and Cultural Extravaganza of Chimera will be held on November 30 at District Library in the city.
