GUWAHATI, Sept 7: The 4th edition of Pinkathon in Guwahati is scheduled to be held on September 30. To celebrate the feat, the team has organized a temple-to-temple run. Temple-to-temple run is an event held as a tribute to womanhood and the different avatars of Goddess Parvati. The run will start from Shri Shri Nabagraha Shasham Kali temple to Kamakhya Temple, covering a distance of 10 km. All the women in the event will run wearing traditional Mekhela Chador, which is mandatory for the event. The event hopes to celebrate the bravery and empowerment that Maa Durga symbolizes. Assembly point for all the runners will be at Nabagraha Shasham Kali Temple.
