5 more Containment Zones declared in Kamrup (M). Complete list here

Guwahati: 5 more areas in Kamrup (M) district of Assam have been declared as Containment Zones by the district administration on Tuesdfy. Deputy Commissioner Biswajit Pegu directed the circle officer, Guwahati revenue circle to seal the areas with immediate effect.

The boundaries of the Containment Zone in Satgaon:

North: Amir Ali

South: Proposed Road

East: Residence of Khalilur Rahman

West: Residence of Afsor Ali

The boundaries of Containment Zone in Christian Basti:

North: Residence of Saurav Baruah

South: Charing Villa

East: Radiant Tower, MG Road

West: Amarawati Path

The boundaries of the Containment Zone in Hirapara Village under Azara Revenue Circle:

North: Paddy Field of Hirapara Village

South: Banhshigopal Namghar

East: Paddy Field of Hirapara Village

West: Residence of Prafulla Das and others

The boundaries of the Containment Zone in Santipur:

North: Santipur Mosque

East: Santipur Hill Side

South: Kaffiluddin Road

West: Bhootnath

The boundaries of the Containment Zone in Bishnupur (Bharalumukh are):

North: Kali Mandir

East: Sunflower Club

South: Bishnupur Bimalanagar road

West: Bishnupur Main Road

These orders have been made under the regulations "The Assam Covid-19 Regulations, 2020", "The Disaster Management Act-2005", "The Epidemic Diseases Act, 1897", and other relevant laws of the nation. Any violation of this rule will now attract punishment under relevant sections of the law.
