66 bags of areca nuts seized at Guwahati railway station

GUWAHATI: The Government Railway Police (GRP) seized a sizeable quantity of areca nuts of suspected Myanmarese origin at the Guwahati Railway Station on Saturday.

While 44 bags of areca nuts were recovered from the Rajdhani Express train, another 22 bags were recovered from the Kamrup Express train.day at Guwahati Railway Station. According to GRP sources, the first 44 bags were being sent to Kanpur from Dimapur. The other 22 bags were being sent to Howrah.
