70-yr-old woman commits suicide near Kamakhya in Guwahati

GUWAHATI: A 70-year-old woman, Champa Das, committed suicide by hanging on Sunday in the Nursery area near Kamakhya in Guwahati. The incident has created a sensation in the area. The nephew of the woman has filed a case (480/18u/s 302/34IPC) at Jalukbari police station in this connection. The police have started grilling the daughter-in-law and the granddaughter of the woman.
