GUWAHATI: The Education Department has decided to scrutinize various documents pertaining to the appointment of 91 non-sanctioned teachers in 53 colleges of the State. The scrutiny process will take place at the office of the Director of Higher Education (DHE) at Kahilipara here on March 1 and March 2.

The DHE has written to the college principals concerned in this regard, asking to send the teachers, who were all appointed by college governing bodies, to attend the hearing process along with relevant documents. These documents include: certified copy duly endorsed by the principal of the concerned college regarding date of appointment, date of joining, continuation of service of non-sanctioned teacher (individually); certified copy of appointment letter as non-sanctioned teacher; certified copy of relevant advertisement; certified copy of documents of interview (proceeding, marking statement, etc.); certified copy of governing body's resolution for appointment as non-sanctioned teacher; certified copy of joining report as non-sanctioned teacher; certified copy of mark sheet and certificate of MA; and certified copy of all relevant documents regarding NET/SLET/Ph D (if any).
