DEAR BUDDY RIP!

IN REMEMBRANCE AND A TRIBUTE!!!!

Goodbye, adieu, farewell, dear buddy Rip,

Reminiscing our friendship, as we grieve,

A sense of sorrow, your passing away we mourn,

An emptiness, a void, a feeling of being forlorn!

Qualities eminent, of head and heart, were you born,

Your energetic dynamism, people to you were drawn,

Fond memories of your goodness, our thoughts adorn,

Cruel fate alas! Your death has left us shattered and torn!

Vivid remembrances of moments spent in our lifetime,

The smiles, the jokes, the radiance of you in your prime,

Sharing joys and sorrows, taking life in its stride,

Moments of happiness, blitheness,

We are filled with pride!

But listen dear friend!

We won't worry for it's only just a matter of time,

Before we meet again in the realms of the Sublime!!

This is a tribute to Rip, who left us on 27th May, by his fellow Cottonians - Class of '73
