AASU Meeting To Oversee Smooth Functioning of Board Exams

GUWAHATI: Meeting with the Chairmen of Board of Secondary Education, Assam (SEBA) and Assam Higher Secondary Education Council, Assam (AHSEC) on Friday, All Assam Students’ Union (AASU) discussed the upcoming board examinations. AASU team led by their Education Secretary Sarat Hazarika, arrived at the SEBA office and met with the Board’s Chairmen Ramesh Ch Jain and Secretary Suranjana Senapati to discuss the smooth operation of the upcoming HSLC and AHME examinations. A total of 3.52 lakh students will be appearing for the examinations.

Hazarika also met with AHSEC Comptroller of Education Pankaj Borthakur and devised plans to oversee the discipline plans of examination. Strict action against students trying to cheat has been decided. A total of 2,41,942 students will be appearing for the AHSEC examinations.
