AASU Pays Condolence to Kuldip Nayar’s Family on His Demise

GUWAHATI, Aug 31: In an effort to express its deepest sympathy over the demise of veteran journalist Kuldip Nayar, a team of the All Assam Students’ Union (AASU) recently visited and expressed solidarity to the bereaved family members of Nayar in their New Delhi residence.

During their visit, represented by its chief advisor Samujjal Bhattacharya, President Dipanka Kumar Nath and accompanied by eminent academician Basanta Deka, the AASU team also handed over a written condolence message to Nayar’s widow in presence of her son and other relatives. While extending their solidarity to the bereaved family members, the AASU team recalled Nayar’s compassion and understanding of the Assam Movement besides his guidance and attachment towards the AASU and the people of Assam.
