Abducted youth rescued from Dhubri

GUWAHATI: Din Dayal Singh (28), who was allegedly abducted from near the Sai Baba Temple at Sachal in Guwahati on Saturday, was rescued from Bagribari in Dhubri district on Sunday. According to police sources, Din Dayal Singh was out on morning walk on Saturday when he was allegedly abducted by four unidentified miscreants. In this regard, a case (3026) was registered under Dispur PS. He was rescued on Sunday from Bagribari in Dhubri district. He told the police that on Sunday evening, he regained consciousness in the market place at Bagribari. With the help of people around, he somehow managed to get in touch with Bagribari Police. The Bagribari Police then informed Dispur Police. A team of Dispur Police brought him back to Guwahati. The reason for his abduction has not been confirmed, said police sources. There is also no information about who were behind this. Din Dayal is an employee in a private company. There were reportedly cut wounds in his hand.
