Acclaimed Play ‘Kushal Konwar’ To be Staged on I-Day

GUWAHATI, Aug 13: Guwahati based socio-cultural organization DRISHYAM to stage the play ‘Kushal Konwar’ on 15 and 16th August at Srimanta Sankerdev Kalakshetra in Guwahati commemorating the Independence Day celebration. The play was written and directed by Bhupen Goswami. The artists engaged with the play includes, Nuruddin Ahmed and Achyut Bixoia among others. The performance will be graced by actor Pranjal Saikia and writer Shanker Das. The play will be performed in association with OIL INDIA limited, State Cultural department and Shrimanta Shankerdev Kalakshetra.
