ACS (Retd) Ghana Kanta Pegu sworn in as new APSC member

GUWAHATI: Assam Governor Prof. Jagdish Mukhi administered the oath of office to Ghana Kanta Pegu, ACS (Retd) as a new member of the Assam Public Service Commission (APSC) at a ceremony held in the Durbar Hall of the Raj Bhavan here on Wednesday.

Earlier, Additional Chief Secretary to the Government of Assam Paban Kumar Borthakur sought the permission of the Governor to start the proceedings of the ceremony, stated a press release.

The ceremony was attended, among others, by Chairman of APSC Rajiv Kumar Bora, Chief Information Commissioner Samudra Gupta Kashyap, members and other office bearers of APSC and senior officers of the State Government.
