Admin takes oath not to keep child labour

Guwahati: According to an official communiqué, approximately 150 officials including the ADC, Circle Officer, Assistant Commissioners and departmental heads of various offices took the oath not to keep child labour in their respective houses and to prevent it amongst the neighbors.

Prior to the programme, the district development commissioner Kamrup (M) Dr Bijoya Choudhury appealed the officials not to employ any child labour in their household works.
