Advertisement issued for 2,649 posts under Assam Forest Department

GUWAHATI: The State Level Police Recruitment Board, Assam (SLPRB) on Saturday issued an advertisement for recruitment to 2,649 posts under the Forest Department.

The advertisement mentioned that only online applications will be accepted on the SLPRB website www.slprbassam.in from January 23 to February 6 next.

The advertised posts include 264 posts of forester Grade-I, 1,226 posts of forest guard, 981 posts of Assam Forest Protection Force (AFPF) constable, 36 posts of driver-constable and 142 posts of driver.

The advertisement further stated that recruitment rallies will be conducted for selection of candidates for appointment to the vacant posts, adding that the date and venue of physical standard test and physical efficiency test (PST & PET), along with written test, will be intimated in due course of time by email, SMS and various other means and through the SLPRB website.
