After Results, Students Throng Colleges For Admission In Guwahati

GUWAHATI: The buzz of the board results have died down and it’s time for the next phase for the newly passed outs. Admission processes have started as students pin their hopes in the institutes of their choosing to be admitted into.

This year, the Gauhati Commerce College admission procedure will be completely online. Although the cut-off marks has not been announced, the last date of form fill up for both the Higher Secondary (HS) and Bachelor of Commerce (B Com) courses will be on June 8. HS admissions will commence on June 14, while B Com admissions will commence on June 19. The admissions will be on purely merit basis as per government reservation rules.

The form fill-up for Cotton University has already ended and the admission for Under Graduate (UG) courses will commence on June 11. Among the city colleges, Cotton University is among the foremost to conduct Bachelor of Arts (BA) and Bachelor of Science (BSC) admissions which were completed on June 13 – 14 and June 11 – 12 respectively. The UG admissions of all city based colleges will be completed by the end of June.
