All Assam Judicial Employees' Association(AAJEA) rues over pay structure, announces stir

GUWAHATI: All Assam Judicial Employees' Association (AAJEA) has expressed great resentment over the pay structure announced by the State Government in 2017. The displeasure of the AAJEA was made public by Ananta Prasad, general secretary, AAJEA at a press meet held at the Guwanati Press Club today.

The list of demands of the AAJEA includes graduate pay scale and advanced increments for law graduates and computer typists. Demanding promotional policy for copyists, the association has pointed out that promotional policy for 4th Grade employees is yet to be implemented by the State Government. At the executive meeting of the AAJEA held on Sunday, it was decided that from December 1, all employees of sub-ordinate judiciary will wear black badge indefinitely till the demands are fulfilled. A non-cooperation and a pen-down strike are also on the cards.
