GUWAHATI: The All Assam Law Students' Union (AALSU) has demanded the authorities of the Gauhati University and the Dibrugarh University to conduct online examinations. "Various universities across the nation are taking steps to conduct online examinations for the safety of the students from the dreaded coronavirus. However, the Gauhati University, and the Dibrugarh University have decided to conduct offline examinations of the law courses. It is an anti-human decision," said AALSU vice president Debashish Medhi.

AALSU organizational secretary Abdul Hooda stated, "Both the universities should conduct online examinations for all the courses including law. The authorities should also be concerned that the academic year of the students is not affected due to the pandemic."
