Alleged ASI Mohan Doley Absconding

GUWAHATI, Sept 19: Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) of Satgaon police station Mohan Doley has been reportedly absconding ever since a case of sexual assault was registered against him. According to Assistant Commissioner of Police Purabi Mazumdar, two women- one from Panjabari and the other from Jorabat alleged that ASI Doley sexually assaulted them when they had to visit the Satgaon police station on various occasions. Eventually, a case No 227/18 u/s 354 IPC was registered following which, Doley has been absconding.
