Book on Amit Shah: Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal released the biography of Union Home Minister Amit Shah entitled 'Amit Shah aru Agragami BJP' here on Monday.

This book on amit shah's life & work translated from English to Assamese by Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma.

The book was released in the presence of State BJP president Ranjeet Kumar Dass, BJP national general secretary Dilip Saikia, DoNER Minister Jitendra Singh and BJP national vice president Baijayant Panda. The main book authors of the amit shah biography are Anirban Ganguly and Shivananda Dwivedi.

CM Sonowal on Book Release

In his speech, CM Sonowal expressed his gratitude to Minister Sarma for translating the book and also appreciated the contribution of Amit Shah to the nation.

"I only got to know two hardworking persons in my life. One is Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the other is Amit Shah," said Sonowal.

Further, Sarma said, "The book details the journey of the party and how it has grown and is being recognized under the leadership of Amit Shah. The level of respect that Amit Shah had for Srimanta Sankardeva is astounding. His knowledge of Assam is immense and worthy of praise."

"This book is a humble tribute to his works. It's a tale of Amit Shah's role in strengthening the BJP and taking it to new heights. The book recorded the journey of Amit Shah, who began his political career as a BJP Karyakarta and booth president in Ahmedabad. Later, he went on to become the national president of the party and now holds the position of Union Home Minister," Sarma added.
