Anchalik Gana Morcha opposes the MSME Ordinance

GUWAHATI: Anchalik Gana Morcha (AGM) chief convener and MP Ajit Kumar Bhuyam has termed the Ordinance on MSME (Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises) an anti-Assam, anti-indigenous and anti-farmer policy.

In a statement issued to the press on Thursday, Bhuyan questioned, "Why has such an important decision that's related to the existence of Assam been taken without any debate in the State Assembly. Why is there such haste in taking the decision amidst the corona pandemic? The State government has to make it clear before the people of the State."

Bhuyan demanded of the State government to revive the industries that are being closed one after another in the State, instead of taking such an anti-people decision.
