Animal husbandry training by Assam Livestock and Poultry Corporation Limited ends

GUWAHATI: The two-day training programme on pig, goats, poultry and duck rearing, conducted by the Assam Livestock and Poultry Corporation Limited (ALPCo) to foster 'Atmanirbhar Assam' and encourage youths of the State to become self-reliant, came to an end on Wednesday.

According to a press release, the programme imparted training on how to avail Government schemes on animal husbandry to attain self-reliance.

Speaking at the closing ceremony, ALPCo chairman Manoj Saikia said that animal husbandry is the appropriate way of making Assam economically self-reliant.
