Anti-Satellite Missile Strengthens Peace in India: Sarbananda Sonowal

GUWAHATI: Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal has congratulated the scientists’ fraternity of the country in general and the scientists from DRDO in particular for successfully launching Mission Shakti operation leading to the successful testing of the Anti-Satellite Missile.

According to a press release, he said that with its successful test, the country has got a shot in its arm for strengthening its atmosphere of peace and not war. Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal at the same time extended his congratulations to Prime Minister Narendra Modi for emphatically leading the nation and enabling it to become the fourth nation to achieve the feat. Terming the day as historic, Chief Minister Sonowal said that with this success, India has entered its name as an elite space power with a solid commitment to safeguarding the country and all its citizenry from all hostilities and expediting the welfare narratives to take them all together to a new height.
