APCC-panel members meet Sonia & Rahul Gandhi in New Delhi

GUWAHATI: A delegation of the APCC (Assam Pradesh Congress Committee) met AICC (All India Congress Committee) president and MP (Member of Parliament) Sonia Gandhi and also senior party leader and MP Rahul Gandhi in New Delhi on Saturday.

The APCC delegation was led by AICC general secretary in-charge of Assam Jitendra Singh and APCC president Bhupen Kumar Borah. Also present in the delegation were AICC secretaries in charge of Assam and working presidents of APCC — Rana Goswami, Kamalakhya Dey Purkayastha and Jakir Hussain Sikdar.

The other members of the delegation were CLP (Congress Legislature Party) leader Debabrata Saikia, deputy CLP leader Rakibul Hussain, MPs Ripun Bora, Pradyut Bordoloi, Ranee Narah, Gaurav Gogoi, Abdul Khaleque and the president of the AIMC (All India Mahila Congress) Susmita Dev, stated a press release.
