Appointment without written examination: AJYCPA moves CM vigilance

AJYCPA moved the CM's special vigilance cell and lodged FIR regarding 31 gazetted posts that the APSC had selected without proper written examination of their candidates.

GUWAHATI: AJYCPA (Anusuchit Jati Yuba Chatra Parishad, Asom) moved the CM's special vigilance cell and lodged FIR regarding 31 gazetted posts that the APSC (Assam Public Service Commission) had selected without proper written examination of their candidates.

AJYCPA chief advisor Rubul Das said the Industrial and Commerce department had published an advertisement in June 26, 2020, about 21 posts of Functional Manager, Project Manager, Deputy Director and 12 posts of Assistant Directors.

APSC conducted viva without any written examination where the candidates were selected for the posts, which Das said could lead to corruption and malpractices. So, a further investigation should be conducted and he moved the CM's Special Vigilance Cell.
