Around the world on foot

GUWAHATI: A farmer from Germany, Kuno Jakob, 68, reached Assam on foot on December 19. With just one bag, he had taken to travelling around the world one and a half year ago. Jakob has covered 14000 km which includes 15 countries and 13 states of India. After reaching a remote area in Barpeta, he next plans to visit Myanmar via Guwahati. He has chalked up his upcoming destinations to be Indonesia, Australia, South America and North America.
