Asom Bodhir Santha (ABS) Secretary Stage Hunger Strike Against CAA

GUWAHATI: The secretary of Asom Bodhir Santha (ABS), Tapan Kumar Sarma, staged a three-hour hunger strike on the premises of the Santha office at Birubari here against the CAA (Citizenship Amendment Act) on Sunday.

January 5 is the birthday of Sarma and the Santha observes this day as Shakti Divas every year as a mark respect to his contribution for the development of deaf and dumb people on all fronts – education, culture and games and sports.
