Asom Rajyik Prathamik Sikshak Sanmilini (ARPSS) delegation submits memorandum to Governor

GUWAHATI: A delegation of Asom Rajyik Prathamik Sikshak Sanmilini (ARPSS)led by its secretary-general Ratul Ch Goswami met Assam Governor Jagdish Mukhi today and submitted a memorandum wherein the problems faced by the teachers have been highlighted.

Through the memorandum, the ARPSS urged the Governor to look into and remove the anomalies in respect of grade pay of the graduate teachers. The teachers have also asked for regularization of the posts of headmasters and the teachers on a contractual basis as well as clearance of the dues of the teachers who have not received their salary. The Governor has also been requested to use his influence to streamline the supply of textbooks and uniform to the school students. This was informed to the media by ARPSS secretary general Ratul Ch Goswami.
