GUWAHATI, July 10: The Basistha police arrested two youths identified as Saurab Das (22) and Dipak Deka (31) from Dakhin Ganesh Nagar under Basistha ps allegedly for physically assaulting two young girls. According to police source, the accused duo assaulted the victims on the presumption that they belonged to the Karbi community. The incident happened a couple weeks ago when hatred went off following the Dokmoka incident.
