Assam: 18-year old girl to handle Assam CM's twitter account

Guwahati: For the first time ever, an 18-year old girl will handle Assam Chief Minister, Sarbananda Sonowal's Twitter account on Nov 20 in a gesture to stand for children's empowerment and participation.

Vandana Urang, from the Namroop tea estate in Dibrugarh will be handling CM's twitter account between 9 to 11 AM on Friday. She will be sharing her opinion on #Reimagining Education in Assam, in post pandemic world.

Vandana Urang is 1st year political science student from Namroop College.

Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal will be attending an important BJP State election meeting at that time with the national party president J P Nadda and other important leaders so he allowed Vandana to handle his twitter account on the auspicious occasion of World Children's Day.
