GUWAHATI: The BJP and the AGP are going to hold their first formal talks on seat-sharing on Monday. Top brass of both the parties will attend the meeting.

Talking to The Sentinel on Sunday, AGP president Atul Bora said, "For the overall development of the State, we are with the BJP. We're going to fight the 2021 Assembly election in the State together against the Congress and its allies. We're going to hold the first formal meeting on seat-sharing on Monday. By March 4 or 5, the picture on seat-sharing will be clear."

In the 2016 Assembly election in the State, the BJP spared 28 seats for the AGP. However, the regional party came out winner in 14 of them.
