The State BJP observed the Samarpan Diwas, the death anniversary of Deen Dayal Upadhyaya, at the party's election office at Ganeshguri here on Thursday.

GUWAHATI: The State BJP observed the Samarpan Diwas, the death anniversary of Deen Dayal Upadhyaya, at the party's election office at Ganeshguri here on Thursday.
Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal in the presence paid tribute to Upadhyaya and appealed to the citizens to work for the development of the nation.
CM Sonowal urged the people to follow the ideologies of Upadhyaya.
"The BJP has been encouraging the people to serve the nation based on values," said Sonowal.
The programme was attended by BJP's North East organizational general secretary Ajal Jamwal, State BJP organizational general secretary Phanindra Nath Sarma, Minister Bhabesh Kalita, and Minister Siddhartha Bhattarcharya was present, among others.
