Assam Book Fair underway at Assam Engineering Institute playground

GUWAHATI: Assam Book Fair (2022-23) is underway at Assam Engineering Institute playground in Chandmari.

Organized jointly by the Publication Board, Assam and All Assam Publishers and Book Sellers Association, the book fair has participation from publishers of Kolkata, New Delhi, Punjab, Haryana and Bangladesh.

A number of events relating to new book releases and literary discussions are scheduled in the 12-day festival where every evening the audience will be enthralled by performing artistes.

Also the organizers of Asom Book Fair have got in touch with the Assam Health Department for necessary instructions to take guard against Covid-19.

The closing ceremony will be addressed by State Education Minister and Publication Board chairman Dr Ranoj Pegu.
